Pro bono response to natural disasters

Justice Connect is delivering a response to natural disasters impacting people, small businesses and community organisations. We’re working closely with other organisations to ensure that the process for seeking legal help is clear.

Justice Connect can coordinate the delivery of pro bono legal help to natural disaster affected communities across Australia. We can also receive referrals of people and small businesses (including farms) from frontline services, and will allocate these people to appropriate pro bono assistance via our Pro Bono Portal.

If demand exceeds our capacity to help, we can also make our award winning Pro Bono Portal available to law firms in NSW that wish to offer free legal assistance to people, community groups and small businesses affected by the recent floods.
