Apply for free legal help
Our team of lawyers work to connect you with free legal advice and referrals for trans and gender diverse young people who need to go to court to access Stage 2 hormone treatment.
Once you’ve made an application and we’ve checked your eligibility, we will work to understand your situation and match you with a lawyer in our network who can help you for free.
Am I eligible?
If you are a trans and gender diverse person under 18, we may be able to help if you need to get a court order from the Federal Circuit and Family Court to access Stage 2 hormone treatment.
You may need to get a court order if:
- One or more of your parents does not consent to the treatment
- Your medical staff are against you undergoing the treatment, or
- You are in the protection of a state welfare authority.
When you apply for help online, we’ll ask you a few questions to check your eligibility and help match you with the right Justice Connect service.
