Upskilling lawyers and advocates helping clients experiencing homelessness.
People experiencing homelessness intersect with a range of legal issues, which can make providing legal help a complex task.
Using our 30+ years’ experience in Homeless Law, we developed Homeless Law in Practice (HLIP) to support our pro bono lawyers and other Victorian legal practitioners in dealing with key legal issues arising out of the experience of homelessness.
For our member firms part of the Homeless Law program, we have exclusive resources including our intensive induction training for new lawyers, submissions and templates, policies and procedures, and social work resources available on HLIP through our password protected section.
Lawyers can access a library of free resources on topics spanning infringements, housing and tenancy, and credit and debt.
