This resource is designed to support people in New South Wales who have been impacted by a disaster connect with legal help. It will help you understand what options you have regarding an order condemning a property.

A local council can make an order condemning a property when it becomes uninhabitable

The Disaster Response Legal Service has created a resource explaining what your rights are when the council wants to condemn your home. It covers:

LawAccess is a free government service that provides legal information and referrals, including to Legal Aid NSW, for people with a legal problem in NSW.
